Over 50 blue energy experts  from Flanders, Spain (Basque Country), UK, Denmark and Sweden joined the seminar. De Meyer showcased the succesfull development and testing of the hydropower turbine in the Kallo lock (Port of Antwerp). After the site visit, the participants moved to the administrative center of De Zaat. The mayor of Temse described the succesfull transformation of the former Boel shipyard to new industrial activities and housing. We continued with expert presentations on the current status and market possibilities for blue energy, and how integration and technical standards can open the route to commercialisation. The seminar ended with pitch presentations and individual matchmaking sessions.
